Here we feature the decks, gages, finishes, and lengths that we currently stock in our warehouse and that are available for immediate delivery. All of our stock deck is manufactured by Vulcraft, a Division of Nucor.

Steel roof, form, and composite floor deck may be used in a variety of ways, some of which do not lend themselves to a standard “steel deck“ analysis for span and loading. In these cases criteria must be considered other than those given by the Steel Deck Institute. Make sure that this investigation starts with a review of the applicable codes and that any special conditions are included in the design.

Type 1.5 A Roof Deck

Type A (narrow rib) deck provides an economical roof system when utilized with thinner insulation material. This A deck is commonly found in older roof systems and is needed when repairing or replacing rusted out deck of the same configuration. The narrow rib allows for the safe use of all types of insulation and maximizes the deck area for adhesive contact. 1/2” rigid insulation may be used with Type A deck. Type 1.5 B Roof Deck

Type B (wide rib) deck provides excellent structural load carrying capacity per pound of steel utilized and has a nestable side lap. 1” or more rigid insulation is required for Type B deck. Click here for the Vulcraft 1.5B roof deck catalog page in PDF format.

Type 0.6 C and 1.5 C Conform Deck

Type 1.5 VLI, 2.0 VLI, and 3.0 VLI Form Deck

Composite steel floor decks are designed to furnish positive bending reinforcement for the structural concrete and serve as permanent forms. This deck is manufactured with deformations to interlock with the concrete, resulting in unit action. The VLI deck has an interlocking side lap, which can be button punched to adjoining sheet.
